After first pursuing an A.S. in Marine Technology and studying to be an Inspection Technical Diver for underwater welding at The College of Oceaneering, Mark turned his attention towards a decidedly less wet work environment. His natural inclination towards quality control led to a decision to attend the Building Inspection Program at College of San Mateo. Since 1992, he has worked as an inspector of California hospitals, California schools, and large commercial and industrial structures.  Mark’s experience has allowed him to develop thorough construction expertise, utilizing creative thinking to ensure that the building progression goes efficiently.  Mark has a strong background in reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, structural steel, welding, masonry, and soils.
