Ryan has worked in the construction industry since he was old enough to work.  While pursuing a degree in aerospace engineering from San Diego State University, Ryan worked on campus in several of the university’s engineering and maintenance departments.  After entering the aerospace industry, Ryan quickly realized that his passion was construction, so he enrolled at California State University, Sacramento to earn a degree in construction management. During his time in Sacramento, Ryan worked with Harbison-Mahony-Higgins Builders on several large California health care projects. His broad field knowledge led to a position as the lead quality assurance/quality control manager, which became his initiation into the OSHPD world. Ryan’s next goal was to become an OSHPD IOR.  In 2011, he met Jim Embleton and left HMH to accept a position at Stanford Hospital as an IOR. Within two years, Jim and Ryan joined forces to launch Percepta Group, LLC.
